Research: Design from the Inside

Juxtaposing Nationalism, Conceptualism, and Moderism as the values that reflect Dutch design and culture, the commercial, pragmatic, and experimental aspects of Dutch design manifest through this culture that supports design. Looking at a historical perspective of design in the Netherlands from the 1920s to present, the ideas that Dutch design is driven by exploration and the reclamation of nature formulates, enabling a knowledge restructuring and domain for debate.
