When I started my post-secondary education, like many students, I had no idea of what I wanted to do. As a result, I spent three years transferring between schools and faculties and ultimately ended up in the SIAT program at Simon Fraser University. I am now (finally) finishing my degree in design with the goal of pursuing a career in furniture and product design. In recent years, I’ve begun experimenting with both rapid and traditional fabrication, such as 3D printing, CNC machining, and woodworking. My goal now is to set up a workshop within the city center of Vancouver and produce one-off pieces in order to further develop my skills and gain experience within the field of design.
