Stephanie McDonell

I am a 4th-year design student as SFU. Coming from a background of history and social sciences on one hand and illustration and art on the other, interaction design somehow seemed to make a lot of sense for me when I found SIAT at SFU. The work I enjoy doing is usually founded on ideas stemming from observations about everyday life, and my background in illustration has allowed me to communicate those ideas in a clear and constructive way, not just in my employment as a graphic designer and printer, but also in personal and school-related design projects in many areas. My interests lie mainly in critical design, communication, and analysing cities and the people who live there.
